Turbotax 2005 and 2006 Deluxe with state for Windows and Mac. New retail boxes but the 2005 package is blemished with what appears to be yellow spray paint. Apparently (prior to the time we received these) someone tried to obscure the UPC bar code on the side of the 2005 package for some reason. Some of the yellow spray paint has gotten on the back side of some of these and/or on the opposite side (probably due to the likelihood that they were stuffed into a larger box after being spray painted while the paint was still wet and (apparently) the paint rubbed against the opposite side of some of the packages. Some of the yellow paint might even be on the front of some of the packages. The packages are in nice sealed condition overall other than the yellow spray paint– although some of the packages may have other minor flaws. The extent of the yellow spray paint and/or condition of the 2005 package you receive may be slightly different than the package shown in the photo but will be essentially similar overall. Whatever the motivation for the yellow spray paint these are legitimate packages which we are authorized to liquidate. We have been authorized liquidators for nearly 40 years now. Ideal for doing 2005 and 2006 taxes! Genuine. For personal Federal and State taxes. Also includes schedule C for sole proprietor small businesses but does not include Expanded Schedule C Guidance like the Home & Business versions do. Please be advised that some recent buyers of Turbotax 2005 Deluxe have indicated having difficulty getting this software to do the updates and/or state download. We include a special sheet of tips of things to try if you do encounter problems like this. We are certain that the packages which we sell will work as well as any other legitimate Turbotax 2005 Deluxe packages being sold on Ebay. One of the best ways to increase your odds of having success with old versions of Turbotax is to have access to more than one different computer model– preferably with a different version of Windows. Many installation and updating problems with old Turbotax versions seem to be unique to certain computers. Very few people with access to multiple computer models have insurmountable issues with old Turbotax version installation and/or updating. In rare instances buyers encountering insurmountable issues with old Turbotax versions may need to try a different brand of tax software for that year such as the H&R Block tax software which we often also offer on Ebay. The Turbotax 2005 software is worth only about $19 of the value of this dual-item listing. The 2006 version is the more valuable component of this listing.
